One afternoon the kids from our neighborhood had a lemonade sale for fun. Then it turned into much more than for fun. There was recently had a house in our neighborhood that was destroyed by fire. It was super sad and they had 5 children. The kids had an idea that we could have a lemonade stand and give all the donations to this family. So that is what we did, we set it all up and these kids did all the work. We baked cookies, we sold lemonade and gathered enough money to replace a good amount of the kids toys that were destroyed. Everyone from the community came by and donated. It was amazing to see the young kids do such a big deed! Blessed beyond measure to have been apart of the whole thing!
