What we have been up to!!

Busy Busy Busy! What a busy weekend we had, we went to 3 birthday parties and had a blast at all of them. Last weekend the kids went to another Birthday party that they got to dress up and so I caught a few pics of them. SO super cute! I just love having a boy and a girl. I get the opposites, a girly girl and a TOTAL boy. So much fun! Monday we went to Boo at the Zoo with Alicia and her kiddos. We actually made it through the animals with out it raining. Can't believe it! We had fun and the kids have so much fun playing together. Any time you ask Jax who his friend is he says "Bison". Emmie just Love's Macie, she thinks that she is so big because she gets to "Baby sat up on her". That night we came home and carved our pumpkin, ate Carmel apples, and watched a few Halloween movies, we had a blast!
I will post some of those pics soon!

Chicago!

What a fun time we had. My mom, sister, my aunt and my self all went to Chicago to see Oprah! It was a fun fun time. My sister won tickets to Oprah so we just made a little trip out of it. My mom got tubes put in her ears for this trip. She does not usually fly because of her burst ear drum in the past. She all ways said that if we got tickets to Oprah that she would go. I even wrote into Oprah several years ago telling her story in hopes that she would give us tickets. I was so proud of my mom, she did it and her ears didn't hurt her a bit. When we got to Chicago we had been told NOT TO TAKE the train and what did we do? Yep we took the train and nope we sure shouldn't have. So after taking the train and bumping all of our luggage down some metal stairs we had to walk like 5 blocks to get to our hotel. Whew! We learned our lesson early on. The next day we shopped till we dropped and had a blast. We went to all the discount stores. They had an amazing Marshalls, TJ Maxx and Nordstrom Rack. I loved the old buildings and seeing what a really big city is like. It was beautiful and very very clean. On our very last day there we went to the taping of the show. It was really cool to see how it all went down. We had to wait for 2 hours in this small holding room before we got to go in. Our show was the Reality TV show and was pretty cool. Ace of Cakes was the highlight for me. I loved to see those beautiful cakes that they made. Too bad we didn't get to taste them! We went to her store and then caught our plane home. What a great memory, what a great trip! I sure had a hard time leaving my babies but had a blast with my mom, sister and aunt.

WOW! I can't believe he is two! Makes me want to have another....

hahahaha had ya! NO WAY! NO more babies here unless it is gods will!

My baby isn't a baby any more! So I know that I am a photographer but it is always easier to shoot others than your own right? Last weekend Chad meet me in between two shoots to try to get a few of little man and we sure did. He thought he was all that and a bag of chips. Here are just a few of my favs! I will post more on my trip and what we have been up to tomorrow! I need to head to the bed!!!!!!

Family Fun Day!

Whew, What a busy weekend. Friday evening Cleve and Alicia kept the kids for me while I had a senior shoot in Weatherford and then Chad meet us there and we had dinner and let the kids play. Bryson and Jax play so well together and had a blast. Jax found a firefighter jacket and wore it all night, he thought he was so cool. Emmie had a blast raiding Alicia's closet and wearing her clothes and all her accessories. Alicia even gave her a "coat" as Em calls it and has asked me everyday if she can wear it! Thanks Alicia!!! We dressed Macie up in her costume and she is the most precious strawberry that I have ever seen. The costume was ABSOLUTELY adorable!

Saturday we started the crisp cool morning out at a soccer game. Emmie is doing so well, she has scored at least one goal per game. You go Emmie girl. I just love to watch them play and yes I am one of those mom's who cheer when she has the ball. She told me last week "Mom, why do you yell like that that embarrasses me". Hahahaha! Sorry Em but I can't help it! Chad was Mr. mom all Saturday afternoon, I had five shoots so he was on his own. He took the kids to the open house at the Fire Department in our neighborhood. He said that they had a blast. The kids got to climb all over the trucks, bounced in the bounce houses and even got to see Care A Flight land. Jax thought he had died and gone to heaven. I was sad that I missed it, but so thankful that Chad is such a great daddy and took them so they wouldn't miss out. He even had a steak dinner going when I got home. Maybe I should go back to work full time. Wink wink............

Yesterday we were off to see Marry Poppins and spend some time at the fair. We drove to Dallas and then caught the green line to Fair Park. Both kids thought this was so cool. Jax even got to hear the train "whoo whoo" as he calls it. He was so proud. Marry Poppins was BREATH TAKING! I have been to several plays but this one hands down was by far the best. The special effects were amazing. http://disney.go.com/theatre/marypoppins/broadway/#/video/mp-sneakpeek/. I will say it was the most expensive nap Jax has ever taken. The show was long and he did really well considering. I only had to get up with him once. We ventured out to the fair afterward and got our corn dog which was great! Then as we were walking to the games the flood gates opened up and after the first lighting bolt we were out of there. We went and ate dinner and then the kids voted to come home and play a game instead of getting ice cream so that is just what we did. We played What's in Ned's Head and this was the first time that Jax was into playing a game. We had a great family fun day even if it rained!

The kids were being so silly in the car!!!

When we were putting the kids to bed I asked them both what their favorite part of the day was and Emmie said it was Marry Poppins. When Bert walked on the walls and when Marry Poppins flew across the audience. Jax said his favorite part was the "rain" (train) as he calls it. He said it went "whoo whoo".

Well the laundry is calling my name. I will post more when I get back from Oprah!

FLU!

What a week, both kids woke up Monday with fever so off to the doctor we went. I knew deep down that we had the flu and sure enough we had the flu. After an afternoon of finding and dealing with insurance we got the kids medicine, picked Chad's and mine up and home we went to isolate our selves for the week. Dr. B said nothing until Friday. The kids and I felt pretty bad until Thursday. We are all feeling much much better and this morning we went to the park for some much needed play time. We had been fever free fro 24 hours and were good to go. The kids had a blast and came home for a needed nap. Hopefully tomorrow will even be better. We have a soccer game and then off to take pictures. What a week, I am glad it's over! Whew!

Better Late than Never & Sick Sunday!

These are a little late but I thought they were cute. Nana gave the kids a monkey that you put into water and watch it grow over 72 hours. After bath one night the kids were ready to try it out. It was fun to watch!

I also thought this was a cute pic! Emmie has a love hate relationship with Gracie, she is still a puppy and we are working on her behavior. Jax just has a hate relationship with her. She jumps on him and all he can do is this ear piercing scream. Anyway she is learning, slowly but never the less learning.

I have been what I thought was allergies the past couple of weeks. The kids and I had been outside more since the weather was nice and it just became more and more. Last night we hung out with some great friends, ate pizza, watched the kids play and start two projects that my friend and I are working one and by the end of the night I knew it was more than just allergies. I woke up this morning and knew I had to get to the doctor. I went to this little Urgent Care place and I came home with a sinus infection, ear infection and a new found hole in my hinny. Ouch! But with the steroid shot and Z-pak I should be better in a day or two. My little man woke up in the night with a nail biting cough. He has had a sinus infection 1.5 weeks ago and it briefly went away and he has had a green nose since Thursday. So once the cough reared it's ugly head, he and I laid in bed from 12:30-8:10 and watched TV and has had a mild fever we will be headed back to the pediatrician tomorrow. Gammy is being so sweet and offered to come with me to the doc and sit in the car with the kids until he is called back and then J man I will see the doc while Em and Gam sit in the car. I know, I know we are being Crazy weird but I don't want the Flu at the Vaughn's. So I snapped a few pics this afternoon while we were hanging out watching Wonder Pets and Diego. Em and Daddy did the yard and went on a bike ride. We had a pretty relaxing weekend even though we were sick.

Here is Jax making the Smuddger Face (a Thomas the train).

Here he is taking a breathing treatment. Yep he does hate them and it is a fight! Fun Times!

Jax getting all the toys out for us to play with.

Soccer Girl!

This morning was Emmie's second soccer game. WOW! I didn't know she had it in here to be so competitive. She did AWESOME. She scored two goals and hustled the whole time she played. She has really good control over the ball and would just swoop in and take the ball from the other team ( I did have to explain to her that when they say you can't use your hands that also means your elbows)hahahaha. Nana and Papa came and watched her play. Papa sat at the truck and watched with his binoculars since he had stuff in the back of his truck. Jax hung with him most of the time. We really appreciate you both coming it means a lot to her for you all to have been there. Great game Emmie Kate!!!

Rain Rain Go AWAY!

Once again, I love the rain but seriously. I was home alone this weekend with the kids and it was gloom and doom with the yuck weather. It all started like this, Friday I picked the kids up from school ran home packed Em to go to Nana and Papa's house and we headed out. We get all the way through Tolar and I notice that some how from her room to the car she put down her bag down but managed to have her book and American girl. Hummmmm, what is wrong with this picture? So I told her that was it, she wasn't going to get to go PEROID. I wasn't going to drive her 30 min back to the house to get her bag and then back to S-Ville. Well guess who sure did come all the way back and feel bad for getting so mad at her since she is just 5. We got the bag, got back in the car and headed out for the second time. This time Nana meet us in Bluffdale. With all that said Emmie had a BLAST. Jax was sad that Emmie went with Nana, and he didn't but he will get to go next time. She went to eat, bowling and to eat ice cream. Needless to say she has been super tired this weekend. Jax man and I went to eat lunch together and the lady at the front asked me how old he was and if he was 4 years old? WHAT, Ok I get it he is a big guy but really? Any who, we meet Nana at the park Saturday and picked up Em.

Last night we had movie night since Em was gone Friday and they ate pizza and watched Under Dog and then it was off to sleep. We got up and made it to church, which is a huge for me since Chad was gone. We stopped and ate lunch, came home rested and then went out in the wonderful weather. We feed the ducks, went on a golf cart ride and saw all the turtles sun bathing. Daddy came home right in time for dinner, what a great way to end the weekend.

Last week I also re-took Emmie's 5 year pics here are a few. They turned out precious and it was totally her personality. Love that sweet, hard headed little girl!!!

Rainy Days and Mondays!

What a yuck weekend! Dont get me wrong I love the rain but for 4 solid days and the weekend in the mix makes for CRAZY kids. We had a relaxing weekend hang out and had movie night, a birthday party on Saturday and church and grocery store on Sunday. Emmie had a little friend come over and they had a blast. Jax on the other hand was running like his butt was on fire. I am thankful that it looks a little clear this morning and we might go out side and run laps around the house!
Jax Man got this weed eater for his birthday and I came across these pictures and had to post them, he is OBSESSED with anything that he could remotely be a weed eater. He uses anything that is long and can touch the ground for one. My mom took him to the toy store right before his birthday and the only thing the little toot played with is a long stick and then he would make the humming sound of the weed eater. That was all Gammy needed to see. She was on a mission. She sure did go home and find one online. Daddy says this is good practice that next year he is going to graduate to the real one and start doing the yard!!!

My Little Man is 2!

WOW! What a milestone! My little man is 2 years old and yes I know that I have already posted about his Birthday but I have to post about his party. We had his party at The Little Gym. He took classes there last semester and LOVED it! We had a dump truck party and he loved having all the attention on him. When all the kids were supposed to tell their names and do a trick he had to do a trick in between each kid. He also told everyone "shh" while he was opening his presents! What a drama king! He is truly a ray of sunshine! Jax, your daddy and I are so proud of you, we love who you are and who you are becoming! You are smart and funny and are always happy! You are truly a blessing! You might sleep with us until you are 12 but we love it! You are our baby and will always be! I hope you had a great 2nd Birthday Big Man

Lazy Days of Summer have come to an end!

School started today! It was such a bitter sweet moment. I was so nervous about how Jax was going to do but all is well and he had a GREAT day! His teacher said that he stop crying after I left and played in centers. He even played with out his Boo~WOW! She said that when it was nap time that he walked right over laid down on his nap mat and went right to sleep. He was still sleeping when Chad and I picked him up, I know he had a big day!

Emmie started Pre-K and was super excited. She couldn't wait to see all of her friends. When we got to her room this morning I told her to let me help he put away her stuff and she said "Mom I know where it goes". I told her that I loved her and to have a good day and she didn't even say bye, Madison had called her name and she was off.

Chad came home early to go with me to pick up the kids. We took them to get ice cream and heard all about their day. All in all it was a good first day of school!

Fossil Rim!

Jax Man 2 years old!

Emmie at Fossil Rim when she was 2!

This past Sunday we took this kids to Fossil Rim. We took Emmie when she was 2 so we wanted to take little man when he turned two. They had a blast and he was more into the animals than I was expecting him to be! They both let the animals eat of their hands and actually liked it, I was shocked. We went 1/2 way and ate lunch at a cafe and went to the petting zoo. We love family time, it was a good day!!

Happy Birthday Sweet Boy!

Yesterday my little man turned two! WOW! I can't believe that he is already that big. Last night I made his favorite dinner which is cheese pizza and fruit salad. My mother in law and Chad's sister came over to eat and celebrate with us. I made him strawberry shortcake for his cake because he doesn't eat cake and I knew that he would at least eat the strawberries. He was so cute he blew out his candles before the song was over and started clapping and cheering. After dinner and cake we opened his gifts which he LOVED! Emmie got him a Thomas Train go with me set and Chad and I got him this ride on horse. He thought he was pretty cool riding that horse. After all the festivities we got ready for bed. I will add that he has slept through the night the last two nights (Yippy) but he does have to start out on his top bunk. Once he gets to sleep we move him. That is all we would need is him to fall and break his arm again! His Birthday Party is this weekend at The Little Gym. I will post some pics of that next week. I can't believe that my baby is two and starting preschool all in one week. Jax you are such a sweet caring boy. Daddy and I are so very proud to say that you are our son. You are so determined but have the sweetest free spirit that I wish I had more of. We love you Jax Man!

Today he went to the doctor and checked out fine. He weighed 32 pounds and was 37 inches long. Dr. B said that he was the average size of a 3 1/2 year old. I guess that explains why his feet are so big. She said that his feet are the size they should be for his height. I just always thought that he had big feet because Chad has such big feet. If he keeps this up he may give Shack a run for his money.

End of Summer!

What a summer it has been! We have had a great time! From vacation to meet the teacher, I am ready fro Fall! Yesterday Daddy meet us at the water park! How is it that I can take them every week and when Daddy goes it is so much cooler? We had a great time and rode all the rides. We always let the kids get dippin dots the last day of the summer at the park. We ate Ice Cream and then went and had dinner and came home for bed! Today we had meet the teacher with both of the kids. Em was super excited and Jax just kept telling Chad and I "NO" he didn't want to go to school and "Nope" he didnt want to meet his teacher. Well we did and he did ok, it will be a tough few weeks but we will make it! He needs to go play with other kids his age. He is so bored when Emmie is at school.

My little man will be 2 on Monday. We are going to Fossil Rim on Sunday for Jax's special day. We took Em on her 2nd B-Day and we are going to take Jax. I will post those pics and first day of school pics next week!

Summer is almost over!

WOW! What a great summer, it has flown by. We have been so busy this summer that it makes me kinda sad that we are starting school in two weeks. Not to mention that my baby is starting school in two weeks. That is a whole other post.

I have been so busy this summer with pictures that I have not had a chance to post as many times as I would have liked. So I am going to post several together. I feel bad that I have been so busy but I have to say that I only shoot pictures at night or when Chad can be with the kids for the most part. I also have to say that I only edit at night once E & J go to bed so that makes me feel a little better. With all that said we have had a great summer.

Emmie went to Art Camp with her best friend (her words exactly). I have to say that they girls had so much fun. It was a great experience for them. We are so blessed to have this family in our life. Not only is her mom one of my very best friends but Em and Gray get along better than any other little friend. They have the exact same imagination. It is so sweet to watch them play. Their oldest is a great babysitter with Jax she just loves him to pieces and he does her as well. She came over to play with him and for a week afterward he said Coopter,Coopter! So sweet! Our life wouldn't be the same with out them in it!

Em also went to Zoo School with my niece Claire! Emmie and Claire love each other most of the time and when they play good they play AWESOME! There are also times they love to hate each other. They are super sweet together, Em told me that at Zoo School her and Claire were buddies and she loved getting to hold Claire's hand. This same week I got to take my oldest niece to The Little Gym with me. Her and Jax are CLOSE! When I say Claire's name he say Hayee. He was so proud that she was there with him. She is the oldest of our clan and a little mom to him and he is the youngest and loves her like she is his mom! She is WONDERFUL with him.

We also have gone to the water park almost every week this summer and I finally took my camera and got some pics. I have to tell this story and my sister is going to kill me but I hid my camera in my stroller and she went back and got C a band aid and saw some one near my bag and panicked. I love her for that, but I wish I could have seen her searching for it. She said after her heart stopped beating she finally found it. Thanks for looking for it and keeping it under the radar. Chad would have died if I would have lost it! But with all that said I did get great pics that day!

Other than that we have been on lock down this last weekend and haven't done much. We redid my laundry room and mowed the yard but in all of that,I did get one cute pic of my kiddos.

A little of this and a little of that!

I have been so bad at blogging lately! Between pictures,VBS, Zoo School and life I just haven't had time. Last night I was cleaning out my camera and I came across a memory card that had these pictures on them. Well some of them. The one of the house is for my sister in law who has wanted me to post a picture of it for months now. They live in California and haven't seen the remodel. So this one is for you Aunt Amy! We sure do miss you and Krunckle Ben. Em is still saying BooYa when she wins a game!

This one is cracking me up. I just had to post this!

This was what my precious kids (and Gracie the dog) were doing while I was cooking dinner last night!

I promise to post more hopefully tonight, but now we are off to Arlington to do pay roll!!!

4th of July and stuff!

Ok, well I meant to post these earlier but I didn't have time this week since it was sprung on me that we are leaving for our 8 day vacation on SATURDAY! Yes that officially gave me 4 days to pack. I have it all under control now but it was rocky there for a little while!

The 4th of July my cousins, aunt and uncle, my mom and dads friends,Mandy,Colby and the girls came to Granbury. We had a blast, we all hung out and the kids whom had never meet my cousins all played like the see each other all time. We ate, swam, had homemade ice cream, shot off fire cracks as Emmie calls them and just did a lot of catching up.

Last week my neighborhood had the Ft. Worth Zoo come out. They did a presentation with some animals. My sister and the girls came and a good friend and her girls came out to enjoy the fun. Then we took them all to the pool to finish off the afternoon. We had a blast, and I thought it was so funny Claire my niece called and told Emmie to wear her polka dot swimming suite and then Em had to call Gracyn and tell her to wear hers so they could all match. WOW~ what clever 5 year old's.

Little Fish!

Hooray! Swimming lessons are OVER! Their show off day was last Thursday and they are swimming like two little fish. Emmie learned how to come up, take breaths and how to manage in deep water and get to the side. She also learned how to jump off the diving board and swim to the side. Jax is doing amazing, I never knew that a 22 month old would be able to swim under water, kick his feet and either get your fingers or get the side of the pool. He holds his breath and everything. Mrs. Stacy our swim teacher is Awesome at what she does. Here are a few pictures of the last day!

Birthday Week!

Between swimming lessons and Emmie's Birthday last week I am worn out. Here are a few pictures from her Birthday. We stayed home ate her fav dinner and she opened her presents.

We had a great weekend, not super busy which was nice. We got together with our friends last night and had dinner. We usually do this about once a month. I don't know who has more fun the 12 kids or the guys BBQing out side. Anyway another start to a full week. The last week of swimming lessons, yippee! Just a quick update Emmie is doing great and even was diving on Friday in from the diving board. Jax on the other hand is fine for the first 15 min or so and then is in hysterics the rest of the time. The weird thing is that he is swimming like a fish. His teacher and I don't understand why he is so upset since he is swimming so well. I know why, he's a Mommy's boy!!

Dirty Kids=Good Time!

We had a very good weekend, we just hung out around here on Friday and the kids played out side. We had movie night and turned in early. Saturday night my parents kept the kids while Chad and I went out with some of our friends. We went to eat and then to Bass Hall, yes if you know who was at Bass Hall you are now laughing. It was the Oak Ridge Boys. My outlook was I will take a night out and see or do just about anything and Chad loved it. Go figure, he was born in the wrong era. Anyway Sunday was fathers day and it was nice but short Chad and my dad had to go out of town so the kids and I went to Wal-Mart and let Em spend some of her B-Day money on a Wii game. I can't believe that my almost 5 year old is spending her money on a Wii game! WOW!! 5 going on 15.

The kids started swimming lessons yesterday and Em did great. Swam like a little fish but Jax on the other hand didn't handle being in the pool with out "Mommy". He did fine at first and then he wanted "outs" (in Jax terms). Stacey (our AWESOME swim teacher) did let him swim with his paci and swim to his boo (blanket). So that helped a little. After his lesson he got to watch Emmie do hers and I was hoping that would help today's adventure. It must have worked today he did GREAT! He kicked his legs and looked down in the water and kept his mouth shut (all the things they are working on) he even laughed. We will see how tomorrow goes.

My baby is turning 5 tomorrow! I cant believe it. What a fun day, Nana is taking her and Jax to the Bounce House and then the Chicken Express her favorite. Then after swimming we are celebrating just our little family. She wants chicken and mac & cheese for dinner then cupcakes for dessert. We always hold off for our presents until the kids actual Birthday so they will have something to open, then just play play play! Jax is asking for a cookie and its bedtime! G'night!

Party Like A Rock Star!

What a party! Emmie had her 5th Birthday party at Sweet N Sassy. She was truly in her element. She loves to dance and sing and be the center of attention. Could there have been a more perfect Birthday Party for her. All 9 little girls and Jax got all dressed up,had their hair done, nails painted and danced around the place. At the end they all sang "Fabulous" from High School Musical.

Then it was time for cake and presents.

She had decided on Monday that she wanted to get her ears pierced. So we called Daddy and he said that he thought she was to young but that she could get them done just to wait until her party so he could be there. She was so nervous getting up in that chair, then when they did it she screamed so loud that I know the whole strip center heard it. Not only was she so upset but one of them didn't make it all the way through. Great only my luck that I would have to hold her head so they could do it again. IT WAS HORRIBLE! I hated seeing her go through that. Poor Baby and on her Birthday. But all in all we got them done and she was happy with it!

What a great Birthday Party, I still can't believe that my sweet girl is 5. This has been a hard one for mommy. Such a milestone, I feel like she is was getting married or something. Emmie you are so sweet, smart and know exactly what you want in life. Daddy and I are so proud of you, you are a wonderful blessing to us. Happy 5th Birthday Lucy!

Dancin Diva!

OK, So she will be 5 in a little over one week. But she looks like she is 7! Emmie's dance recital was this weekend and she did so good. She is in an older class for her age and she hung right in there with them. These are pics are ones that I took about 2 weeks ago when we went to have her group pics taken. I will post some of her in her recital this week. I am so tired and have to edit some pics tonight. Emmie Kate, daddy and I are so proud of you, you work so hard in everything you do and it shows. You were AWESOME at your dance recital!

Other than that we didn't do much. We took the kids on Thursday to see UP! and to eat Chinese food. Em loved it and Jax man did good he didn't really watch the movie but he hung in there. What a lazy weekend, we worked on the house a little and organized the garage but other than that we just hung out. I love summer!!
Jax has a runny nose and has been such a mama's boy, it is sweet and driving me crazy all at the same time. I know that he is getting his 2 year molars but WOW, what a whinny boy!

Emmies Birthday Party is this week and VBS at her school starts tomorrow so we are pretty busy! Gotta go to bed!

Water Park Fun!

Just because she is cute!

Yesterday was our first day at the water park, the kids LOVED it! Even though we went last year Jax didn't remember it. He was like a kid in a candy store. He wouldn't sit to eat his lunch he didn't want to stop long enough. He was scared to go down the slides he would say "hand" for me to hold his hand. But once he went down them he had a smile ear to ear.

My sister and two nieces went and two of my great girl friends went with their kids. So all together we had 6 girls and 3 boys. There were 2 others that were Emmie's age and she had a blast playing with them. I didn't get to take my camera and get any shots. I was doing good keeping up with Em and J I didn't need to be doing anything else.

On Tuesday we went to the splash park in Granbury and took our neighbor friend. The kids had a blast and it kept us busy for a couple of hours anyway. When we go home Jax was asleep and Emmie and I had a tea party and hung out just us girls. Here are some pictures from Tuesday.

Well off to switch the laundry, find where Gracie has pooped in my house (it is like a scavenger hunt), get Jax out of time out and maybe to the grocery store if it stops raining.

Time out is not fun!

Odds and Ends!

Just some pictures of last weekend in the yard and the pool. Oh except for the one where they are both sleeping, they sometimes sleep with me when Chad is out of town. Some how I didn't realize that Em had her mask on till she turned over!

More Strawberries please!
Silly Kitty!

Strike a pose!

Sweet Babies!

Pretty Creative!

SO the kids were outside and I told them to come inside and wash their hands to get ready for dinner. Emmie washed hers no problem but what Chad found when he turned to corner to see what was taking them so long was hysterical!

Pretty funny huh? I had to get a picture of that. But since then I have also had to tell them that this is not the way to wash your hands.

So a couple of weeks ago we went to the Woodlands with Chad on business. We went to the Children's Museum and ate at the Aquarium. I do think that the kids had more fun at the hotel swimming! Go figure!! One night we had pizza for dinner and their pieces were big enough for them to eat all week.

Anyway off to bed, water park tomorrow! First time of the summer!!

Updates on last week!

What a busy week we had. It was our first week of summer and if felt like it crazy and go go go all week. I had pictures on Thursday morning and we went and saw Thomas and Friends Live Wednesday evening. Chad and I wern't sure how it would go seeing as how Jax wont sit still for anything, but it wen't GREAT. He loved it and danced all around. Emmie liked it to, she said it was for babies but her eyes were glued to the show.

We were supposed to go to the water park on Thursday and after my last Sunday shoot that wasn't going to happend with all the chigger bits I had. Chad said that the people at NRH2O would be following me with a bottle of bleach. We are going to try and go this week, we will see how the old legs look. I do have to say that I have never been bit that bad but the pics turned out AWESOME. Check them out soon at http://www.gigglengrin.blogspot.com/.

Both kids are taking a nap and then we are off to the pool. I know I know it seems like we go all everyday but what are you to do in the hot days of summer.

I joined the blogger world!

Ok, well after going back and forth about having enough time to blog about my family I finally decided to go with it. I want my kids to have the funny things to look back on and we all know with my memory I wont remember the half of it. So here goes!

What a weekend, Jax decided that on Saturday morning he wasn't going to wear any more diapers. Needless to say I was NOT ready for this. We didn't have underwear (not panties as Chad keeps reminding me). So off to Family Dollar, I didn't feel like going into Granbury. That little toot went all day with out an accident. He hasn't quite mastered not pooping in his new big boy UNDERWEAR. Now it's Monday and between him pooping the floor and Gracie having accidents I am not sure who's is who's. I am not so sure what I got my self into but no going back now!

Other than that our weekend was pretty uneventful. We went to the pool and the kids played in the water and even Gracie our new puppy decided that she would take a dip. It was so funny to see her in the baby pool. Right now E & J's favorite thing is to eat outside so I feel like that we have had one continuous picnic all weekend. Oh well one of these days they wont want to hang out and eat with us.
