Once again, while in Houston seeing Chad we got tickets to Sesame Street Live. We got these to test the waters of our vacation this summer. We are going back to Sesame Place in PA. We took Emmie at almost 2 and she loved it so we decided to go back. We looked at going to Disney World and Sesame Place and we figured that he was only 2 once so go with this and we would go to Disney World in a couple of years.
The funny part of this story is when we got tickets to Sesame Live. We (Chad and I) were watching TV one night after the kids went to bed and we were talking about what to do when we came and saw him and I found the tickets. ALL of them were sold out except this certain Sunday. So of course I asked Daddy and he said that would be great cause it was a Sunday and he would be leaving the Chick fil A early, I got 4 tickets to the 5:30 show. A couple of days he came to me and said "What day did we get tickets to Sesame Live" I told him and he DIED! He said he knew why there were SO many seats open because it was Super Bowl Sunday! He took it like and CHAMP! What a great Daddy, he said that the look on Jax's face was better than the football game (coming from a previous football coach). What a great man!
The kids loved it, they danced and had a blast. We went and ate afterward and had a great time. Sesame Street here we come!
I have to brag on Emmie, she didn't really want anything from the show and Jax got "binoculars" and the light wand thingy. So I told her we would give her the cash instead and she said "GREAT". She had been saving for several months for an Nintendo DS and she was $22 away so Daddy told her after the show we would go and get the DS. Three stops later we had a pink DS and a new My Little Pony game. We are so proud of you Emmie Kate, that is a lot of money and you worked really hard to earn it. She would do extra chores around the house that was not of her regular chore list and she mark them off one by one until she got it. You should be proud baby, we love you so very much and are so proud of who you are becoming!!!
