So we decided to take the kids to ICE at the Gaylord. It just happened to be How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Perfect since I just bought the movie on black Friday (for $4-WOW). We watched it on family movie night and then told the kids that we were going to see it all made out of ICE. Emmie was super excited and Jax said "Oh-Man, no no Britch" (yes this is what he calls the Grinch, so super funny until he is yelling it at the Gaylord). Gammy and Pop went with us and we had a blast. It was so cool to see, and yes it was all made out of ICE. Jax did NOT like his parka that he had to wear and was very nervous about what he was going to see. Emmie on the other hand was soooooooooo excited to see Cindy Lou. She claims this is who she is going to be for Halloween. Once we were in there everyone had a blast. At the very end you could slide down ICE slides. So we did that and then headed out to go shop at Bass Pro Shops. (Daddy and Pops idea of course).
I don't know who is more happy to have the parka on Jax or Gammy! Even though it was 6 degrees I still don't know if it was cool enough for Gam!

The slide was something Jax had figured out, we were talking about going one night at dinner and Chad told the kids that he could go with them down the slide but that I couldn't because of my knee and Jax didn't miss a beat and said "Pop slide with Jax". So we picked up the phone and called Pop and I think he was more than happy to slide with Jax.
To end the event at the Gaylord,we had a $6 cookie that neither of the kids liked! Oh Well!
What fun Memories, thanks Gammy and Pop for being sports and venturing out on a family fun day with us. We can be a little crazy at times but at least we are having fun!
